Need your honest opinion on this, do you think it’s a good idea to be apart of the spider verse fandom on tumblr?

I say this as someone who really wants to start writing spider verse stuff, but every time I seem to find someone/blog on tumblr like 80% they are toxic somehow. Like between the blog runners themselves or their spider verse stuff. I feel like all I see is people hating on characters, making post after post about how much they hate a character for one reason or another or pulling fanon/headcanons. Or huge ship wars and so on. It’s all very weird and I just feel like I can’t connect with many writers on here.

Would it be worth writing on tumblr or should I look for other places to post? (I understand that anywhere you go there will be people like that but so far tumblr has been the worst for me.)

do what you please just steer away from unnecessary shit or drama like that, its a matter of people not valuing and accepting others opinions, really. if you wanna write then do that, don’t let the fear of other people attacking you get in the way of that ☺️

So I was debating making this, but eh fuck it. I am starting to feel like Tumblr and especially the bdsm part of Tumblr is very cliquey. Like it wasn't this way 3 years ago. I get there are a lot of fakes..However it is what it is. I will post stuff for me and such talk to a few mututal, but won't stay long anymore. I just don't have it in me to try to make connections when it's rarely return. So I'm not bothering anymore. I'd rather focus on tiktok and helping build people up who also help build me up and who want to actually want to be friends. I am going back to posting little things and sub things and some kitten things. I will still post some sexual things however if that's mainly why you followed you can unfollowed.
